I feel proud when I look back at the fifty-two years’ track record of the college. It gives me an immense satisfaction to see all that this college has accomplished until now. I am confident that it will continue to prosper and progress with leaps and bound in the years to come. The importance of instilling good values cannot be over emphasized. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “What lies behind us and what lies before us are small compared to what lies within us.” Thus, with the active support of the management, staff, and students alike, I hope to establish in this college, a glorious tradition of a value oriented academic life that harmoniously synthesizes the ancient and the modern, the intellectual and the emotional, the sublime and the mundane. My aim, as the head of the institution, is to offer the students of this college, an educational experience which is shaped by commitment, enthusiasm, discipline, effectiveness, insight and creativity:
an educational experience which can withstand the demands of the contemporary
world. Our
contemporary world has now become a knowledge economy. This means that the fruits of success are likely
to
go to those who are life-long learners. Whatever the course you have chosen to pursue at the College,
the
aim should be to advance your learning. So, I request all the students to engage with their courses
quite
diligently. Our vision for the future is to bring together a fine blend of resources like impressive
infrastructure, excellent academic inputs, and activities for personal growth and development of the
students and faculty. I hope, all the stakeholders, will share with me the commitment and determination
to
create a culture of success in this college. Good luck to you all.
